WOMEN SPRING LUNCHEON
This year’s pot-luck spring luncheon will be held in the Garfield Family
Life Center on Thursday, May 8, gathering at 11:30, with luncheon at
noon. Please bring a covered dish for 8 to 10 people. Side dishes,
dessert, and beverages provided. Our speaker will be Mrs. Suna Aziz of
the Islamic Center of Cleveland, speaking on “peace through listening,
understanding, education, and questions.” Call Shirley MacDonald to make

Orange Jubilee is May 16 & 17 -
Garfield Memorial Church will have a booth offering free balloons, face
painting, information about our ministries, particularly the PowerZone
sports camp, Vacation Bible School coming July 28 - August 1st, and the
Back-to-School Jam on Saturday
August 23rd, with an outdoor worship service on Sunday
morning August 24th. We need your help! Please sign up for a short shift
on Friday evening and/or Saturday during the day. For more information

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY - new class starts Tues Aug 26!
Garfield
Memorial Church is offering a thirteen-week course on Christian
Financial Stewardship. Tuesdays from 7 to 8:45 PM. This is a great
course for those who are struggling with their finances and would like
to regain control; and
those who are financially comfortable but desire a greater understanding
of God’s wisdom for the management of the resources He has entrusted to
them. It also is helpful to anyone, at any stage in life, for personal
application, for teaching loved ones and friends about managing their
resources God’s Way.
GET YOUR FEET MOVING AND YOUR SPIRIT DANCING!
Join us as we continue one of our newest small groups: “Walking
Ministry” We meet at the South Chagrin Reservation (just 10
minutes from Garfield Church) at 9 a.m on Saturdays. We will walk,
share, and pray together to invite God to minister to us beyond words.
Experience God’s voice and presence through His creation. The path is stroller friendly and accessible to all.
